West Country Summer Cruises in 2025 to France, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Devon and Cornwall.

Leg 1 - 7 days - 7th June to 13th June 2025. RHYC Woolverstone to The Solent via France and Explore the Isle of Wight. A Summer adventure cruise down The English Channel with visits to Ramsgate, Calais, Boulogne, Dieppe and The Isle of Wight. This can be a RYA Qualification course. Comp crew, Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper. Cost £1095. 3 Spaces available

Leg 2 - 8 days - 18th June to 25th June 2025. Solent to Plymouth (via either Alderney/Guernsey or Falmouth/Fowey) Setting sail from Cowes catch a good wind and make an English Channel crossing to the wonderful Channel Islands and a visit to Alderney and Guernsey. Weigh anchor in St Peter Port and take the tide North across The English Channel to Dartmouth. Following an exploration of The Devon coast make port at Plymouth. Cost £1195. This can be a RYA Qualification course. Comp crew, Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper. One space available

Leg 3 Plymouth to Plymouth - 7 Days - 27th June to 3rd July -Devon and Cornwall Coast Cruise. Sail the amazing Devon and Cornish Coasts. Visit Fowey and Falmouth, anchor up The Helford river, complete your adventure at Plymouth. Cost £1195. Provisional full

Leg 4 - 10 Days - 4th July to 13th July 2025. A classic 350 mile Summer sail up The English Channel. Plymouth to RHYC Woolverstone. Cruise the scenic Devon and Dorset Coasts. Moor at Salcombe, Dartmouth, Weymouth and Poole. Navigate The Needles channel and into The Solent and Cowes. Plan your passage along the English Channel to Brighton, Eastbourne The white cliffs of Dover. Pop into Ramsgate, enjoy a hearty breakfast before the final leg up the east coast to Woolverstone RHYC. Cost £1295. This can be a RYA Qualification course. Comp crew, Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper. 2 Spaces available.

13th to 17th August - 5 Day RYA Course CC/DS/CS £795 4 Spaces available

8th to 13th September - 6 Days to St Katherines Dock London and back to RHYC. Via River Medway, Thames, Chatham, Burnham, Brightlingsea and RHYC. 3 Spaces £ 895. This can be a RYA qualification course, Comp Crew, Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper.

1st to 5th October - 5 Day RYA Course CC/DS/CS £795 2 Spaces available

These challenging and fun 5 day courses focus on the skills required to be a good, safe sailor.

We will spend time sailing in the River Orwell and River Stour, and will likely stop in at Ipswich Marina, Shotley Marina, Walton Back Waters and depending on wind and tide take your sailing adventures to Burnham, Bradwell, Brightlingsea and Chatham.

6 & 7 Day Mile Building Cruises

Our 6 and 7 day cruises are a great way to go further afield than what we are able to do on a 5 day course. They are ideal for mile building, Yachtmaster Coastal and Day Skipper Qualifications. Regardless of why you choose one of these great sails, it will take your skills and confidence that one step further, while visiting some fantastic sites.
