2024 Season Sailing Dates and Practical Courses
27th April to 1st May CC/DS 5 Day Course £745 Fully booked
10th to 16th May 2024 - Woolverstone to St Katherine’s Dock London and return. This 7 Day Course and sailing Adventure will include stop overs on The Medway, London, Chatham, Burnham, Bradwell and will sail all the way up the Thames to Tower Bridge where we will moor in St Katherine’s Dock. The timings will allow for afternoons of sight seeing and restaurant visits at several of the ports. This could also form a superb Competent crew/Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper course. £1045. In June Shanti will be sailing for The Channel Islands. This three leg Summer Adventure will sail with the tides and the winds and stop off at as many Ports and Places of interest as we can.
Leg 1 - 31st May to 6th June. Woolverstone RHYC to Poole via France. Set off for Ramsgate on a early tide the first day then we will do our best to cross to France and take in Boulogne, Dieppe, Fecamp amd Le Harve. Then the Channel dash across and into The Solent and Poole. 7 day leg £1095 (all inc apart from travel from Poole). Fully booked
Leg 2 - 8th June to 14th June. Poole to Channel Islands. Set off across the English Channel for Alderney or Cherbourg. Then a sailing tour of the main Channel Islands of Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey. Visit the sites, beaches and sail with Dolphins on the bow. 7 Day Cruise £1095. Crew change in picturesque St Peter Port, Guernsey. (All inc apart from travel to Poole and from Guernsey) - Fully Booked.
Leg 3 - 17th June to 25th June. St Peter Port Guernsey to Woolverstone RHYC via Alderney and the 200 mile Normandy Coast. Cruising to Cherbourg. Le Harve, Fecamp, Dieppe, Boulogne, Dover. 10 day cruise £1245. Each day will see us head for another Port with the perfect tide and an afternoon or evening to explore the place and find a good restaurant or bar for the option of evening meals. (fully inc apart from travel to St Peter Port and eating out) 1 SPACE AVAILABLE
I will then sail 5 RYA courses in the East Coast area. These can be booked as a family or friends Summer Holiday. Or a Yachtmaster Offshore Prep or just enjoy the sailing miles, scenery and friendly pubs and yacht clubs on the way.

These challenging and fun 5 day courses focus on the skills required to be a good, safe sailor.
We will spend time sailing in the River Orwell and River Stour, and will likely stop in at Ipswich Marina, Shotley Marina, Walton Back Waters and depending on wind and tide take your sailing adventures to Burnham, Bradwell, Brightlingsea and Chatham.
6 & 7 Day Mile Building Cruises
Our 6 and 7 day cruises are a great way to go further afield than what we are able to do on a 5 day course. They are ideal for mile building, Yachtmaster Coastal and Day Skipper Qualifications. Regardless of why you choose one of these great sails, it will take your skills and confidence that one step further, while visiting some fantastic sites.
